I am a new member to the site but have been seeking wisdom here for a long time.
I acquired an early model 031AV from the original owner where it sat in his shop for years. I completely disassembled the entire saw and detailed cleaned every part inside and out.
Completely Rebuilt Carburetor - Brand new chain bar and chain drive sprocket - Also replaced pull cord handle, spark plug, air filter, fuel filter, oil pump drive gears, various gaskets and O-rings. I also have a extra brand new Oregon Chain and extra drive sprocket that will go with the saw. I put a lot of hours into this saw - it Runs Strong! Sounds Great!! and Cuts like a Demon!!! I Just don't have a use for it so I would like to see it go to a good home for $300 plus shipping.
