Stihl 034 av super

Need a ballpark fair price for a Stihl 034 av super. Runs good and piston is clean. Has been well used but doesn't look abused. 6 out of 10 cosmetically but doesn't need anything repaired or replaced. Guy wants $250 for it. Yea or nay?

A picture would help, but the way used prices are around me that sounds like an ok price, as long as it needs nothing. If it was $200 I would feel more comfortable about it.

What bar and chain/drive and what condition? They like a 20" 3/8. Is AF clean and/or still serviceable? Give the clutch drum a wiggle, early/small bearings let go.

Beware. Replacement carbs are hard to find for the 034 and so is the air filter. The 036 parts sometimes will not fit even though sellers say they will.

The 036 carbs fit w/o the compensator cover.
