Stihl 038 muff...will it fit MS 390?

I ask this seemingly stupid question because the 038 muff is obviously pre excessive EPA saw regulations and it's cheap and it looks like it flows a lot more air than my current restrictive muff. More like the one on my friends 260. Plus if that isn't enough I can make it breathe a bit more before putting it on. Thanks fellas,

Well anything is possible with a hammer and a drill, but it won't look pretty by the time you get it on there. But if you want it to look good, Lakeside has it right.
