Stihl 041 AV Help

The rope broke on my stihl 041AV I got in to the pulley but I can not get the pulley out so I can put the rope on it I have taken it down to just the part the rope goes around but can not get that part out How do you get that part out? Vince /S.D.

Vinnie, you don't need to take the pulley out, you feed the new rope in through the casing and into the centre of the pulley through the hole in it.
