Hello,
I just received a Stihl 041 Farm Boss that a got via e-bay. It was advertised as "in good mechanical condition." Well, that is definately statement that is subject to interpretation.
Anyhow, it runs but has a burned-out clutch, broken high-idle lock button, and a leaky bar oil tank. So, I decided to tear the thing down completely and fix everything. In the process, I am trying to remove the flywheel. I have one puller that is small enough to fit through the 2 large holes in the flywheel and I haven't had any luck removing it. (Though I did distort the holes a little. ) There are also 3 small holes closer to the hub. Do I use those? If so, I suppose I have to make a puller.
Thanks,
Brian Reifsnyder
