Stihl 045 AVEK Any info???

This picture is not mine, But, i am interested in this make of the 045/-56 chassis stihls... It looks to be a military made saw? with the waterproof plug boot, and the OD paint scheme... Anybody have any clue as to What the real use was?

I seem to think they are over the pond only but Thats all google found me! Thanks guys for any info you can add!

We have one at out national guard base in a wooden box kit says bund on it figure it must be a military supplier I haven't found much else out ours is also dated 1985 still runs great Had it out today
