Alright, well thanks everyone for the help on getting this one going, still needs some fine tuning but runs well. This saw cam with a 21" bar and since its going to be primarily a felling, stump removal saw, I gave her a early
x-mas present yesterday. A brand new 32" Stihl Bar and a new Super Chisel Loop. Dealer said the bar would fit the 051, and he's usually right on the parts end. Heres the problem. The base of the mounting studs have a cuff at their base which is larger than the diameter of the slot. Can't tell if the tension pin will fit as the cuff holds the bar out. Not sure of the slot size, I do know it's the same as my 280 however. Should this saw take a bar with a larger diameter slot, or has someone replaced the studs with some Bastardized setup?
