I decided to tidy up my trusty Stihl 056 that has served me very well and decided to move it on. I purchased a G660 Holzfforma due to it's lighter weight to replace the 056.
I stripped it down, undercoated it with Rust Oleum farm implement, and painted it with the Farm Implement Kubota orange and Ford Grey.
The paint really goes on well and I am happy with the results. The saw started up on 3rd pull and still runs like a top. Not sure if I will part with it now as it really is such a great saw. (just VERY heavy). ;-)
A big shout out to those who went before me and recommended on this site the Rust-Oleum products and colors to use for Stihl genuine appearance..
