Seems to be two options. I have one that is missing the studs. The IPL is a little hard to tell which part number I need. Either number 24 or 25? One looks longer and self tapping.

Thanks. Jason.

Unless I am Misleading myself (We/I do that?) the long stud was for the 'quick stop' early version I am thinking but not sure that it is a 8mm case side thread and the later 056 supers (short studs only ) were 10mm case side to handle the stress of longer bar stress. The case was beefed up (reinforced)as well. The newer chain brake uses 2 short studs. The older 045 Supers were dual port mufflers and 54mm pistons but only had the 8mm case side studs. Any one with better Info jump in. How else is a fella gonna learn?

Great info.....

I have one with the different length studs in need of a cover & never realized what is was early vs late thing. Most people look at me strange when I ask about it.
