I have a 026 that I will take 225.00 plus ship . Its had the piston replaced , muffler mod. and I think I rebuilt carb. . I've had for a while its time to let it go . The bar is a 16'' stihl that has been painted . Its a great running saw . 001.JPG 014.JPG 027.JPG

Thanks jacobj. I will look in tradin post and see if I can find it. Didn't see it before.

Wkeev...is it a OEM piston you used?

I have a 361 I might sell. It's got a 20" stihl e bar. Starts easy, has good compression. It's definitely a work saw. I'd like to get $450 for it...

That 361 looks nice, but I just scooped a 361 on flea bay for $356, so I now have my 361 search covered. Lol.

I saw that saw on eBay! I'm really surprised you got it that cheap. Usually they shoot up $50-$100 in the last couple of minutes! Plus, you have to add the shipping cost... And every time I buy a saw off eBay it ends up costing me extra once I get it! I hope it works out for you!

I see you also have an 036 Pro. What is your reasoning for keeping it and selling the MS361 if you don't mind me asking?
As far as the 361 vs 036, the 036 just feels smaller and lighter to me, and if I need a bigger saw I have the Jonsered. Plus I need to sell a couple saws and figured the 361 would be an easier sell and bring a few more $$$. Good luck!

I can't believe I got it for what I paid either. Yeah, I hope its just like the seller says it is, or he will be hearing from me.

Thanks Clyde for posting that link! :)

Well, I bought my Dolmar off eBay as a "running" saw... I pulled the muffler to look at the cylinder and there was no muffler gasket or heat shield, and it was held on by one bolt. Then I noticed the base gasket was hanging out, so off came the cylinder! Luckily it was ok, but when I disassembled the saw I found that the spark plug wire was broken in two. Minor stuff, but definitely not a running saw! There was no mention of any of those things in the ad! I guess the seller didn't know, it looked like it was a second hand store.

If you are looking for a project saw, I've got a clean, nice looking 026 that has 160 compression but no spark. Ive never had it running and I probably won't get around to it. $150 shipped. I can get you pics if you are intersted.

I don't know about him, but I'd like to see pics. Thanks!

I have 261 I'd let go.
