hello all been a while since ive been on here. I am looking for a good used jug for my 064. afraid to buy some of the aftermarket stuff thats out there so figured id try here first. let me know what you have im in seacoast nh and have paypal ready to go.
 
I have a used one. Not sure if it's usable honestly. I'll post a photo and see if we can get a guru to imply.

I've been told it's good since the wear is below the intake. Then I've also been told it's junk. The rest of the cylinder looks good.

looks so-so to me, its a buddies saw so I'm going to pass on that. What is involved in putting on 066 jug on it? Just drilling and re-tapping the threads? I dont care to make it a big bore or anything just need to get the saw up and running again.

I haven't done that mod before, so I don't know the specifics. But I do know they run strong. My uncle has a walkerized 064 with 066 top end
 
I agree with others to put a 066 top end but if you want it original I do have a new oem cylinder/piston but it would be quite expensive since I remember paying a lot for it. I never did get an 064 to put it in, and don't really plan to at this point.
 
pm me a price on that p/c. if its easy and cheap enough ill just go ahead with the 066 top end? anyone chime in on what exactly needs to be done?
