I bought a 066 and this topend was mounted on it. It looks to have never been ran. I don't know of the origin of this kit. Bore looks great and no problems with it what so ever. $50 shipped in lower 48.

Interesting...has a Stihl PN on it 1122. Piston looks Meteor from here in NJ...maybe randy or someone else can id it with some side shots of the slug and some port shots of the jug.
Is there a decomp ?

Not a meteor kit, more like a golf or something along those lines. I don't know who makes it. There is a decomp hole.

Lol never heard mine say that either.been a while since I even looked at my 066.didnt realize the bases where that thick.

How's the shape of the combustion chamber and the finish in the transfers? That's usually where the differences are. Still a good clean looking top end...

no aftermarket company that I've seen put the Stihl number on the casting... Piston should have a mark on the inside of the skirt. If it's a Golf, they cast that into the inside, maybe hard to read it. Give me a picture of the inside and I can usually tell.
