hi, I got chain oil in the cylinder - could this be a seal on the pump?

Almost certainly. Commonly available part. Less likely is a failed case gasket.

Just finished fixing a 051 for guy, it also had oil in the crankcase. Was having problems with the pressure test after replacing all the seals. So replaced the o-ring on the oiler adjusting lever. And by doing that it solved all the problems. Hope that helps?

Thanks for this, I did a pressure test and had a couple of leaks - the decomp was not sealing properly and the seal on the pump wasn’t working. Not sure if it’s the big rubber or the o ring anyway put a bit of grease round them and it held pressure …will replace both.
