Today I stepped up to the 7 cube club I'm looking for a top cover, and filter cover for the HD filter in good shape.
Also I'm looking for a good after market piston and a OEM full wrap handle.
I need one large felling spike also.
Thanks
Randy

I think a good after market piston is an oxymoron for this saw. Have fun in your search endeavor.

Anyone out there need an 084 chainbreak? ran the serial number on a chainbreak I had floating around the shop and it came up to be for an 084 considering ive never owned one. What are they worth? this one is brand new. let me know if you end up needing one.

I've been using the mako pistons from weedeaterman. Put two of them in and no problems so far.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll check it out. My CAD addiction started a couple years ago and
I finally stumbled upon this big pig. I haven't tore in to it yet except pulled the muffler and it looks like a piston
for sure and a few small parts.
Thanks

Well not getting many bites out there. I have early 044 parts 10mm style, good tank , good cylinder, crank, clutch side case, elect parts to trade

Might want to check on the bay if you haven't already. Welcome to the land of non readily available parts hunting. That's the only downside I think to these big behemoths.

you aren't kidding I'm trying to kept in in a reasonable budget I'll keep on looking. I thought olympyk 980 parts were hard to find and I stumbled upon a complete 980 runner and this 084 at the same time.

There's brand new top covers on ebay right now for $100 plus shipping. I bought one after I missed a good used top cover out of Australia for $75. That's the nature of the beast with the big saws.

295,
I'm parting out an 084, let me know what you need. I do have a NOS piston if you would like.
