Stihl 088 Stripped Threads for inner side plate bolt M4x8

How to best repair? As I’m putting together my 088 I found the previous owner had stripped out the side plate bolt threads. I’ve drilled and used inserts for M5 and M6 but this is smaller and there is limited room. Has anyone run into a similar situation? Thanks

I would put in a helicoil, fine if you do them correctly.

You can tap it out to m5 x.8 if need be.
