I have four BlK's sitting on my bench. Of these, three have been run in the past couple of days and the fourth should be reassembled and running today.
My question is, does anybody have an owners or shop manual for this model? A copy would be a great addition to my collection of manuals. I am unsure about the transmission lube, grease or oil, and how do you check the fill level. Also what is the procedure for greasing the rear bearing in the starter cover?
One saw is missing the rear bearing holder and the screen. Does anybody have these parts available? I have used the holder from one of the other saws to stabilize the end of the crankshaft when running it.
Three saws have the original roller-nose bar and one has a hard-nose Stihl bar. I have a Bing carb on one saw, but have had no luck running with this set-up (swapped in one of the tillotson's to run it).
So many saws, so little time. Larry
