I just got some felling dogs for my stihl 046 used. The dog match up fine off the saw when I put them on, the chain catch doesn't line up in the holes. I am wondering if there are different dogs. Like are these for a different model 044? ect. I had them given to me some one had extra. It is a mess to get them on. I have to leave them lose to get the clutch cover on, I don't like it. I put a lot of work in this saw and I want everything to be right. Any help would be appreciated.
Also on dogs is there a smaller set then the massive 5 spike? It is fine on big saws but I like 2 dogs on smaller stuff too and they are way to big for small stuff.
