We have had a ice storm here, the power went out and my
little generators gonvner wasn’t working right. I unhooked it
pulled the choke gable off the old jeep and used it for a throttle
cable on the generator. With the EDT 5 tach I was able to set
the rpms and not over or under reave it. Used the Gen for about
9 hours today Ele. is back on for now, but we are still getting
freeze rain. Going to be allot of saw work when this is done.
Took a few pics today and it's allot worst now. I can stand
out on the porch and here trees snapping, some of the older
trees with bad roots are falling over.

Yeah, that's exactly what we're worrying about here. We've had so much rain over the past month that the ground is simply saturated, and they are saying that this area is going to be in a band for ice starting tomorrow night. If we get a lot of ice load on these trees with the ground as soft as it is, we'll see a lot of trees falling too. My saw's are ready and so is my Honda generator tho........
And I've got my fingers crossed!
