Heres a photo of a stihl ms200t that I sent to Mike Boyer last week. Extremely well built saw inside but the muffler has to be the most restricted muffler yet. It had interlacing fingers on both sides of the muffler at the exhaust inlet, then there were two baffles inside that had to come out and then the exhaust inside made a 180 degree change before it exited out a 1/8 by 1/2 inch outlet. made a new outlet for the exhaust. I think a 20t muffler might be the way to go. anyway it cut a 11.47 stock and a 6.25 modified with the same bar and chain. Really nice 2.15 cu. liming saw

What other mods did you do to get that low time?

Hello rich,
Pretty much the standard mods for a woods saw, change the intake, transfer, and exhaust porting. clean up the throttle and choke shutters and screws and enlarge the venturi for increased flow,change ignition timing. lower squish clearance and increase compression. probably half of the increase in cutting times were gained in the muffler mods
