Hello everyone! I hope I am not beating a dead horse. I have searched the web extensively and would appreciate any help.
I have a MS 250 ( Please see pic for details) I want to replace the carb due to hard start issues. This saw came with a ZAMA C1Q-S76C. I have looked high and low for a -S76C and cannot find one anywhere. I have found -S76Ds and S76Es. Are these good replacements? My saw is not an EZ start and does not have a primer bulb. Any suggestions for any other replacements would be welcomed as well. Thanks in advance.

I found a -S76D on eBay for 15.99 and free shipping. Looked identical so I bought it. Thanks for the help.
@Savannahdan48,
At that price it sounds like a chinese carb. I'd like to know how it works out and if it solves your 250 hard start issues. If it does I'd really like to know who the seller was as i'm fighting similar issues on mine.
TIA

My MS250 can be hard to start. 2 pulls with the choke on is all it takes to flood it. 1 pull with choke and it usually coughs to life!

There are plenty of threads on here about had starting MS250s. As Harley noted changing the "letter" on your carb isn't likely to make much difference assuming that your existing carb is working properly. These are extremely easy to flood as the relatively small starter spool make it hard to pull the engine over fast enough to get it to "pop". If you feel it tug on your arm take it off choke and pull until it starts.

I have the carb most seek out for the 250 and upgraded 180s (205 something?, its been awhile) . Needs a rebuild. Interested?

Is there a spark screen, is it clean, if not then it will cause starting trouble.
You could rebuild your old carb.
