Stihl 2 men engine/chain saw! KS 43 Petrol engine 250ccm 8.5 HP Type 18 with Anwerfvorrichtung 4000 U/Min Bj. 1959 The saw is in a perfect condition! I think the pictures say everything. The saw gives it completely as watches the inclusive transportation crate and the whole accessories among other things 3 to chains. One of it was not ever used, second has approx.. 90% and the third ca.50%. The sword is not also complete correct, tracks of the chain!! On the transportation crate that stands the saw for 03/72 general was overhauled. I do not think thereafter it or max. in, was two times used. It looks really still super, I was surprised! When it the latter times ran cannot I not say. I did not auspropiert it. I think however after a basic cleaning (carburetor, candle etc. that might, as it looks, no problem to be. In the Oeelkanister is even still Oeel. As it, it smells from might be 1972;) In the transportation crate are different small articles. Supply can, kerzenschluessel, second reissleine etc.. The saw is naturally complete. I only that to assemble saved. Is however no problem. When desired I assembly it and Mach a picture! Thus, on the whole there might only rarely be a still so well received saw with this year of construction! It would be beautiful if it is fetched. 20Km before Schwerin. Motorway Hamburg is approx.. 25 min from here removes. The dispatch will, I think times around the 70 euro for costing, since because of the high weight and the size a forwarding business would have to be assigned. That can be agreed upon however then again. Piece of lover for all chain saw collecting tanks!!! And now the best comes. All this off 1Euro! ;)) Much fun with offer! Privately!! No cancelling, warranty or guarantee! Ebay I, dispatch you!

At 82.5 pounds and 250cc, that's a man-killer.

Thats why a military saw. You can make soldiers cut with what ever you want. I think I would rather use a sharp crosscut than that beast. Not as much energy expended.

It looks like a really nice KS 43, but as it is refurbished, I suspect that it is Army surplus......

As far as I know, the West German Army used them until about 1973, they had been in service for 30 years, then.

I believe the German Army replacement was the 045.
