been looking through all the different posts but just have not found my answer,,so,,,,here we go,,,
some history so we can get off to a decent start here,,,been running saws since 69,,(and I still got all my fingers , toes ect )
have been using a 024, 038 super, and a old 075, since 86,
I do storm damage clean up , my source for my firewood,,,so Im not cutting everyday,,,,hookay,,,,
I ended up selling my 075 to someone who really wanted it,,which got me thinking of why not break down and get a new big saw,,,one guy I knew said next time you buy a big saw,,try a husky,,well went into the local dealer to talk about a 395,,he wouldnt even look up from his magazine to discuss it,,,just said, dont have one,,,can order one,,,,,and kept looking at his rag,,,,I walked,,,,,,
my stihl dealer that I got the other saws from, lit right up, when I said I was thinking about a big saw,,and said you will like the 066, so,,,,like the other posts I have read on the husky / stihl deal,,,depends more on the dealer,,,,so guess Im going with the stihl,
now to the question,,,,how does the 066 compare to the 075 with both having the same length bars, in cutting speed, ect?
,,,had a 30 or 32(cant remember, on the 075, and am gonna get a 32 on the 66 (if/when I get it)
and on the carberator on the new 066s, is there a problem with the new style carbs or what,,I keep reading posts that mention fixed jet carbs??
sorry for long first post,,,
thanks for your time,,,sunshiner,,
