Has anyone found a supplier for the "rubber" curtains on a grinder. They attach both underneath of the cutter wheel and the actual machine to keep debris from flying all around.
They are quite pricey when purchased from the manufacturer and just wondered if anyone has found a source of the material elsewhere.

We have a few suppliers here in Portland Area that sell rubber for conveyors. I have a vermeer 2465 that i'm going to sell and I put the rubber aprons on about 15 years ago. I leave them down all the time. I cut them about 1-2" above ground. I used to use canvas but only lasted about a year or so. I think it costs about $120 to do large vermmer stumper with the rubber. Try to get 1/4" with fabric in between layers of rubber. Hope this helps
