Stump Grinding Liability Insurance

Have been grinding stumps for 20 years part time. Now my liability doubled and my company doesnt want to cover me next year. My agent is no help. Any suggestions as far as companies that write this insurance.

Maybe someone in your area will have a good suggestion-Otherwise I would suggest that you look in the yellow pages and call everyone who advertises business or commercial ins. Half probably won't return your calls but some will actually try to win your business.I don't know if a specific stump grinding coverage is even available but someone can write you a policy for Landscaping services or Arboricultural services.-The landscaping will probably be cheaper.

If your agent wont help, find one that will. Thats the first step.

I think they cover into your area and had very good rates for Virginia. $600 a year covers 1m liability 20k equipment loss and 5k property damage coverage quick payout rider that does not go against liabilty claim.
