This stumpgrinder is used and needs a motor asking $1000 for it
Have not looked at grinder. Add in paper for sale.

Would like all opinions or feedback good or bad that any one has or knows about this equipment. Age --good price--what to look for when I check grinder--would you buy it. I will not waist my time if Neg. feedback. Never used a stumpgrinder ---I do know that the dealers can tell age of a backhoe by the letter that is with numbers--A would be the first model made--B would be next to the oldest model. I do not know if the grinder age is checked the same way
Thanks for any information.

Used a 630A for years with family business in NY, good small tow behind machine. Can be used with out being hooked up to truck by staking the tongue into the ground but never really held well. Best to be hooked up to truck or tractor. 630B newer model same design hydraulic up / down, left / right, tongue in / out. Probably had 35 -45 hp wisconsin air cooled engine. Very durable, must have really beaten it up to blow it. As far as use it will grind anything you point it at just a matter of how much time you want to spend grinding. They are slower than newer models. If you are planning on doing backyard work with limited access get a self propelled unit. Good luck

Thanks for the feedback and history on the grinder.I know now not to try an bargain with the seller on buying the grinder. The advice is good enough for me.

Thanks again
