Hello Guys, I have a sugar maple problem. Every spring our sugar maples start out very well, but in the last 4 years many leaves and look very good for a few months, then maybe in one night 1/4 of the leafs will end up on the ground, all cut ruffly 1/4 from the base of the leaf's stem... my guess is that some insect is laying its eggs in the leafs stem and when they hatch they cut the stem.
any1 have any ideas? or what to do/spray?
its rather irritating when you have nice trees one day and rather bare trees the next.
any help is appreciated on this problem, thanks.
