Summer work in the rigging

Well Wednesday is going to be my debut working in the brush (aside from marking leave trees and various recreational activities). Everybody I talk to within the industry says "Your first time settin chokers is going to be out there?" The general consensus seems to be that it is steep. My attitude is that it's not so bad if you don't know any better. I've humped around out there plenty and know what the ground is like but I think it'll be a little different ballgame draggin chokers around. Shouldn't have to dig too many choker holes anyway. I'm sure I'll be feeling it by Friday!

I have to say I was never dumb enough to actually put it on my skin. That crap just smells like it hurts.

Ya, just smear 90 wt. all over your tin hat.

Deet is great stuff. keeps the bugs off, cleans your tin hat. Helps your hands not to slide around on your power saw. It will stick the sweat band of your hard hat to your forehead incase the wind comes up.

You can clean pitch out of an increment borer with DEET, too. It'll even take the paint off of the ol' crummy.

I used it to clean the pitch off my Spencer Tape and D Tape, and wait, there's more!
