summerize your central boiler. what DO YOU do?

what do you guys do to summerize your system?

I clean out the ashes and put oil on the ash surfaces, then check the ph and nitrate levels in the water.

what do you guys do to summerize your system?

I clean the ashes out real well, and take the grate and auger ot and oil them. I then oil the inside of my fire pot. I also go to the back of my stove and open the valve and let that black water out of the bottom of my tank.

do you have to let out all of the water? and if you do, do you leave it empty or refill it?

When I COMPLETELY EMPTIED IT I IMMEDIATELY FILLED IT AND PUT THAT BOILER TREATMENT IN IT. I think it would be a mistake to leave it empty.
