Anyone climbing with suspenders on their saddle?

I'm tired of my saddle pulling my britches down when I have to carry the big saw in the tree. I'm afraid I am going to get arrested for indecent exposure...

Is there a set I can buy that are comfortable, affordable and universal for any saddle?

I am using a Petzl Mini Boss if that makes a difference. Kind of wish I would have got the Boss with the shoulder straps now.

Simple Solution

climb without pants

Hey, I'm a member of the party naked generation but they have registries for people that do that these days... :hmm3grin2orange:

I've used Buckingham suspenders on both my Glide and Butterfly and the ones that are on my Glide came off an older saddle so they hold up well. I had to make a loop on the back of the Butterfly. I think they're around 50 bucks.
We'll worth it,
Phil

Wish I could help you, maybe its because god blessed me with no *ss. I have the opposite problem, my pants are always in my crotch and the ankles of my pants always need to be pulled down to cover my boots back up....?

I tried the suspenders thing, worked amazing. I loved it. I finally got the fall-arrest add-on, and now am way pleased. Its got padding, plus a couple extra attach point, that I can clip gear to. Mine stays and feels secure now. Suspenders worked good, until I noticed I was wearing little marks into my saddle.

God Bless,
Jeff

I use regular Jonsered Suspenders on my B-fly. I cut the clips off the front and sewed them into my saddle belt, on the back they just clip on. They hold up the gear and are still flexible so they don't inhibit motion too much. Worked great for me.

Thanks for the input guys. I am looking at the Buckingham suspenders in Wesspur's catalog now. I think they might work on mine,

Hey Nails, you got a link for those Jonsered suspenders?

Great question , I was planning to ask the same thing. I am sick of pulling my saddle up and constantly adjusting the waist .

Good timing. I just started using the Buckingham fall arrest harness on my saddle all of the time, now. I, too, am sick of my harness taking my pants down to my knees when I'm in the middle of a tricky manuever in the trees with my saw clipped on my harness. :dizzy:

Sorry, I don't. They are just the clip on kind with Jonsered branding, any Husky/J-red dealer should be able to get them. They are super light.
