I've made one of these before but not quite in as easy a manner as this, and just in case others haven't seen one, here is my tachostand. The bracket is taken from the front alloy duralier of a bicycle and I have just bolted a rectangle of 1/4" ally plate onto that, and then bolted the tacho onto the plate. The bracket is easily removed to transfer to another saw and fits most wrap handles. Very useful for tuning and looking at RPMs in the cut. You know how you always need than 3rd hand when doing this. In this case this is a milling saw so that's why it's on the side of the wrap handle, as this becomes the top when the saw is in the mill. For regular saw tuning the bracket can clamp on the top or other side.
