Anyone have any experience with these? Looks like for spar work they might be Comfy. My feet go to sleep when i stand on my kleins for long periods.
Foot plates wont fit kleins correctly.

One guy in our co. has a set. They were laying around the shop. He doesnt mind them. Said it takes some getting used to though walking on those soles.

They advertise them with a 2-1/2" gaff.Isn't that a pole length gaff? Anyone know what the mfg's website is?

I have a pair and I love them, it does take getting used to the different feel. I dont have the info you need .Sherrill used to carry them thats where I bought mine. Also I did away with the strap on the toes , was a pita.

I have a set of these also. I bought them years ago for a guy who was working for me who quit after a month. they sat around for a couple of years untill I got tendonitis in my foot of all places and made standing on my buckinghams very painfull. so I tried them out , didnt really like them at first as the 1 inch sole feels real clumsy but now that Im used to them I wouldnt go back. Another small advantage Ive found with them is they stay sharp forever as the gaffs are held off of the ground by the high sole..........

Thanks Guy's! I ordered a set this morning hopefully they will solve my issues!

Let us know what they're like.

I got Bashlin steels with foot plates, a little better on spars but they suck in trees, you got no feeling and sure footedness like normal boot bottoms.

Getem yet? Getum Getim Getume or just Get Them yet?

Yeah they look like no fun for limb walking.I mainly got them for spar work on pines.

David, any update on the Talons? Have you tried them in a variety of situations?

They work very well! They are very comfortable. The only complaint I had was I had ordered a set of wraps for them and the were supposed to fit and came loose from the climbers when I was 60' in the air!But with the standard straps there great!
