Hey guys here is a new mod that any one can do to their saw. Romove the tank housing from the rest of the saw and fill the front tongue with hot glue. this gives it way more stability and strngthens the front. I have seen hundreds of saw busted at the ftont mounts from being pulled on. I have done this to 4 saws now and with great success. The pictures are of a tank housing done and one of a cross section. You can see how thin these are and how the infill works. Also the weight added is less than an ounce. We put one of these tanks done like this in a vice and bent it until the front cracked. It was close to 30 degrees before it cracked (way more than a tank would ever get bent with out crushing the whole saw) and after it cracked the hot glue still held it to gether enough that it was able to be used.

klick you have way to much time on your hands:yoyo:

Hot glue also works great for repairing plastic housings, filter covers, securing ignition wires back to broken coils, etc and, it ready for use in minutes. Adheres much better than polyurethane and is flexible when set up.
