anything new? interesting? thought provoking?

Here are a couple of my thoughts?

What happened with the big tree squeezer retriever?

Spiderlifts? are they worth the money?

Does anybody use Echo saws as their only saw? I run Stihl and have run Echo years ago and I don't see how they can honestly say they can compete with Stihl and Husqvarna.

well...soaking on all the information I received....

Im interested in the new Reachmaster 76' lift that was suppose to debut at the TCIA. First viewing and pricing was set to be unveiled. I didnt go, but would love to hear anyone's thoughts on this new product. Will be interesting to see how it competes with Teupen 76'.

spiderlifts

spiderlifts are great when you can use them. i would refrain from buying a teupen though. the electrical is crappy. and customer service sucks. we had one break down and it took more than a month to get it back. they are not very customer oriented after the sale.
try to find one that is self propelled and the tracks narrow up. it is great for getting into a back yard.

Ill 2nd that!!!!!!!!

Not sure about the guy at their booth trying to give them street cred...what a joker....I could not stand to listen to his lame attempt at talking up their machines...

...they same thing happened last year....same guy telling the same stories...yeah...spiderlifts will overtake the industry and no climbers will ever be needed again....

had to join in, everyone knows how I feel about spiderlifts...for me too expensive to justify purchase, however....if you are working high class neighborhoods, limited access, etc.. well, they cant be beat! They wont replace climbers!!!!

The beaver squezer or what ever its called.....what a joke uhh? I think these MFG`s come up with stupid crap to sell at outlandish prices in hopes we`ll bite!!

Like I said a year ago or so, give it time on the self propelled lift market, its already happening "Competition" people either love em or dont! & when the market gets flooded (supply/demand) then we will get them cheaper....the used market on these machines is terrible so resale is usually w/o warranty & who`s gonna pay $50k plus for a machine "as is"? Ill hang in for awhile...patience!!

LXT............

I will stick to renting. I can use my bucket truck in my area for more efficiently.

I like the biljax machine we rent but it is not like a bucket truck...imo...

There is a time and a place for all, i suppose
