I picked up this saw with a load of other OPE. It seems to have good compression. Is it a decent find? Sorry for the huge picture sizes. I'll resize them tomorrow.

Looks like a little bigger version of my dads old poulan 1800 super. Definetly a poulan in red clothes. Never a bad find if the price is right.

The cool thing is they didn't roll around a bit in the back of the truck on the way home. I knew they were keepers then!

Yeah, you better send the red saw to me. I'll give it a good home. I even have a red bungee cord that will match it perfectly.

:D

This saw don't need a bungee cord. Didn't you hear? It passed the roll test!

I bought the 2 saws along with a bunch of blowers and string trimmers. Most of the equipment seems to have good compression. I think I can get most everything running and sell it off and break even after I keep a few pieces.

sharpener

Whoa, built-in chain sharpener. Homeowners dream saw. He won't have to learn how to pick up a file to keep it razor sharp. That's got the cut you anytime chain that sharpens on the top of the cutters. You'll have a hard time finding replacement wheels and chains for the saw. If you remove the sharpener, cover the hole (duct tape), or the saw will throw chips in your face through the hole.

Is that what "Power-Sharp" means? I'll have to get into this saw tonight!

Those auto sharp thingys weren't the greatest idea. My father in law had one back in the day. He said the first time you hit the auto sharp button it would stop cuttin.
