After tearing down one of my Shindaiwa 360's. I decided it was hop-up time. I opened up the muffler and checked out the top-end also. While I was in there I replaced the rings and increased compression by eliminating the cylinder base gasket and sealing it with a Anaerobic gasket maker. What a trip, this saw flat out rips and is a blast to run. This saw is only 35cc, but it will run an 18" bar with 3/8 lo-pro chain with the bar nose buried. I have to thank Ken Dunn, Dennis Greffard and Dozer Dan for there input and help on this and other projects.

wait until you decide to send it to Dennis or Ken and let them do some piston and cylinder work and you'll really be impressed!! - good start though!

Sounds great Rich! I enjoy doing mods like this to my saws. What brand of sealer did you use?
