Can someone tell me what's going on with these leaves. They are from a Texas live oak. Almost 100% of crown is gone in the last week or two. These leaves were taken from small limb attached below the trunk.
I was thinking oak wilt but I am not an oak tree expert.
Is it too early for live oaks in S. Central Texas to lose leaves? I know that some trees will lose their leaves earlier than others but this is awfully early though I see some evidence of very small buds. Still, these leaves do not look healthy to me.
