I finally got to put the Shindaiwa 757 to some real wood this weekend. Big storm headed our way so a buddy wanted to take down a large alder before it hit. Put the 32" bar on her and went to work. The saw handled the longer bar well and we got the tree down and blocked up. I did find the long bar a bit awkward to work with, but had no issues with the saw as she had plenty of power.
I did a survey of our property after the big blow this morning and I've got a several alders and one cherry tree down. Looks like I'll be busy for awhile. I hauled three loads of hemlock off state land last week and all the wood sheds are full. Looks like I'll be selling some wood this year.
