Including and limited to 5 saws, but the list goes on?  I think I know what you meant - saws in that size range?

Of the 5 listed it would undoubtedly be the 026 for me, since my favorite OPE shop is also the closest at about 5 minutes, and that's the brand he sells (alongside Echo).&nbsp; Second choice would be the Jonsered because it's the prettiest incarnation of those Elux saws.&nbsp; But to get one I guess I'd have to go visit Tony Snyder at an hour and change each way.&nbsp; I have to travel &frac12; hour each way (all highway) to even see <i>anything</i> Elux on the shelf.&nbsp; Haven't run across one being used anywhere yet that I can recall.&nbsp; So far it's pretty much been old Homelites, Stihls, Echos, an old silvertop Jred, and the occasional Poohlon.

One reason I find this size saw useless, besides being a man, is that my climbing saw has a 16" bar. An o26 would not handle more than a 20" bar, which means that I do well cutting with my climbing saw up to 16". Then if I used the o26, I would be calling for a bigger saw in about one or two cuts. For that little bit, I'll just pull up an MS460 or 066, right away when my climbing saw gets too small. I sure ain't going to drag three different saws up one tree.

Touche, Mike.

When the 020 goes down, the 372 XP comes up.
Then my 066. I will pull up my 3120 eventually, cause I CAN.

what saw you climb with?

And don't be scared, theres 2 rings on my belt for both my saws.

I use an echo 345. We actually have two 020s, one modified, and a 335, but I like the echos best.
I don't need a saw bigger than an MS460 with a 25"bar in the tree often, then I use an 066 with a 3' bar. Never cut a tree I couldn't finish climbing with that.
I sure am glad I don't live in the PNW where the big trees are. It's one thing to cut down a big ugly silver maple, cottonwood, or willow, I'd hate to kill a big redwood, sitka spruce, or douglas fir.
