Those look like a good set of earcaps with a reasonable price. I used simular design from Peltor but couldnt think of much advantage by using active dampening and (speak)sound filtering and amplifying. I would like to see a reasonable priced set of caps with active speak and hearing wireless for groundie/climber/craneoperator use. Its sometimes a hell of a job to keep a motorola walkytalky up in a tree and not damaging it.

Peltor speak/hear caps

I have a peltor system that replaces the regular earmuffs.

It has the dampening/amplifying in stereo, and 2 way radio on the FRS bands. I think it has 10 channels so you can talk to ny of those little camping walkie-talkies as long as they are not on a split channel (ie 4.4, 3.2.. only 1,2,3,4..). it has a boom mike and Vox, though the saw usually sets that off .

I like the audio pickups because I can hear people on the ground when I'm 60-70 feet up w/o them having to yell.

It's designed for airplanes, so it's not the best it could be for what we do, eg dampen everything that is not in the human voice range, or clip i think the proper term is.

It costs around $360US so the market is small right now, I'd like a way to play it.
