1998 Woodchuck W/C 17 with 80 hp Perkins. hours unknown But looks to be in good shape. Bearings are solid. Also has the optional hydraulic ram to push the feed wheel down. (Not sure what that's called or how useful it is) All 98-2000 woodchuck hyrollers I see from dealers are asking 10-12000 for them. At auction they're going for 5000. I feel like it's a good solid unit. Plus the seller is a well established local tree service with a world class equipmennt maintenence division and he says if some things not right, he'll fix it within reason of course. His advertised price was 9950. He says he'll take 8000.
How does this deal sound to the used equipment trading gurus here?
