Don't recall posting about this tree last spring. Here's two pics of a huge weeping Japanese maple I had a chance to prune last March. The March photo is after thinning. It was in pretty decent shape to begin with. I recall that the homeowners were new to the home when they called me. Not sure who pruned it before, but they did okay.

This tree is 14 feet tall x 15 feet wide.

Someone asked about a transplant or pruning estimate for the same type of tree in the same neighborhood today, so I went down the hill afterward and got the autumn photo. This is one heck of an impressive tree, for it's type.

beautiful tree, guessing it's worth about 8-10K
 
If the sidewalk was ripped out and replaced ($1000 expence) I suspect it could fetch 20K for someone who appreciated these and understood how rare this size is.

@20K is high. I'd go maybe 15 for the right buyer, but that's the tops. It's a gorgeous tree none the less.
