Looking to purchase a 2008 4012 with 1000 hours on it, 33 HP Kubota diesal, 4 wheel drive, scrape blade and wireless, machine looks and runs good, well maintained. $13,000

Need to step up from a Rayco 1625 I've had for several years.

any help on what to look for on this thing would be great. thanks

i have a 2006 4012 with the 27hp kohler 200hrs and i love the grinder, but ill gladly trade you for the 33hp diesel!! the grinder is awsome they are built like tanks and the travel speed is the nicest part they will travel faster than i can comfortably walk, i would go for it. only thing i wish about mine is that i have a the briggs 37hp motor or the kobota 33 but i bought mine for 6000 with 180hrs so i cant complain.

thanks for the response, everything I have read about these machines seem positive. I have had real good success with my 1625 Sp Jr, and it is still a good machine. I've put 3 engines on it and had the pump and cylinders rebuilt, just replaced the polychain. I'm sure I've made many times over what I gave for that machine and the up keep on it. I'm going to sale it after I get this 4012. I cvan not wait to get that wireless....I'm am sick of looking around to see the stump and most of all I'm sick of breathing dust and dirt!@!!!

Sounds like you got a killer of a deal on your machine and for around $2100 you can buy a 35 HP Vandguard. I was considering putting one on my 1625 but I am going to step up to a faster machine.

thats not bad at all i need to find a use for my kohler first! and i wish mine had the wireless that would be the cats a## hope you injoy your new toy, i mean tool...... happy new year!
