Has any one used this saddle, I have wanted to try a floating bridge leg strap saddle and this seems resanable in price i still use a four D buckingham with a no leg strap sling and leather back brace is real heavy and want to upgrade before i go back to Colorado

Puma

thanks in advance
Paul

I recently started climbing with the Glide Light which is simular to the Puma. I went from the Versitile which is comfortable but bulky. The Glide Light is comfortable after taking the time to adjust it. For me it is better for footlocking and manuvering around in the tree. You barely notice your wearing a saddle. If I am doing screw rods or cableing I will use the versitile.

He has a seat on his versatile which is far more comfortable if your going to be hanging from the saddle for an extended period.

Like SOM said. The seat on the versitile is like sitting in a lazy boy recliner, compared to the old school saddles I started on.

While watching him climb the other day I was gazing at his seat and it looked nice... :msp_wink:

First off, You two need to get a room and keep your love life off this forum. It makes me so jealous!

Second, I thought about the batten seat after I posted the question. Pat has one for his Versitile saddle, but I have never tried it. My Glide II is pretty comfy for the first 1/2 day then it starts to nag after that. I think most of the problem is that I seldom spend that much time in it.

Wait till to do a massive oak prune that is wide as it is tall with cable installs. Nothing like having to eat lunch up in the tree. That is when the lazy boy saddle is nice.

Like I told you on the phone, with trees that big, I end up playing groundie and using a fast climber in the tree. I'm too old, to try being fast in a tree.
