Was all set to go cut up a cherry that had fallen at my property when the delivery guy dropped off the Timberjigg I ordered. So I decided to put it together before I left. Anyway, get the darn thing together and one of the plastic rollers wont roll. after taking it all apart and double and triple checking I used the right bolts in the right places, I found on the roller that hangs up, the "spec nut M6x18" was just a little shorter than the other allowing it to get to tight and prevent it from rolling. And no, I didn't mix it up with "spec nut m6x14". Wasted a nice day on a paper weight..

Many a day have been wasted over a one cent nut!

Logosol will make it right they are a great company to deal with.

Just break the bank and go buy a metric nut.

Indeed. Problem is the offending "nut" is a custom sort of job. More like an axle for the plastic wheel. No way I'd find it at the hardware. I'm sure I could dink around with it in the shop and find a way to make it work, just don't really like the idea of needing to fix something I bought brand new. E-mailed'em, we'll see.. Been a nice week for me already, brand new Maytag washer with 6 loads through it doesnt drain the tub completely, and then the T-jigg is a bust too. 0-2 for new products. My 1979 Husqy 2101 starts and runs like a champ though!

i took a good kick in the nuts back in November, seems parts for my 1982 Maytag washer were NLA and have been for a long time, solid as can be, figured I had my moneys worth, bought a new one. Less than a week later it failed, so now I have my 1982 Maytag cast gearbox apart on the bench and in pursuit of a competant cast welder.

All of my Husqvarnas start also.

BS. I have a Speed Queen that was in the basement when we bought our house. We used it until it started to leak real bad. Plumbed an upstairs laundry this summer so figured we would get a new set for it.. Should have just fixed the old Queen and put it up there, might have to yet.. WAY better built than the new one, all steel while the new one is molded plastic, tub and all.

Indeed. Of 4, 3 are stationary. Company responded by apologizing for not elaborating on the importance of not "over tightening" the bolt and that the roller not rolling really does not effect performance anyway.. Not really satisfied but that's just good business I guess "your right, it doesn't function as intended/advertised, but thank you for your business!". I know that of the two front roller "spec nuts" one is 1/32in shorter causing it to pinch the roller, unlikely I flattened it. If a common problem, some torque specs would be nice.

I like Logosol's mills but the timber jig, for the money is not as good a value as the Alaskan mill IMO. On the subject of washing machines, have you tried a staber? They look like really well built machines

Wow, that is a washer! Pay for it though.. would seriously consider one next time around, should be in about a year plus a day if I had to guess. Be real surprised if the May-swag lasts longer than that.
