Did anyone else see the episode tonight on Discovery channel called Time Warp? They had some cool super, super ( yes to supers) slow motion on some ax work, tree falling and log rolling, ax breaking class cubes, .

For those that have not seen the show... from the discovery web site....

Using the latest in high-speed photography, the Time Warp team takes some natural events (a cat licking its paw, a champagne bottle being opened) — and some not-so-natural (a water balloon to the face, a raw piece of chicken exploding) — and turns them into a thing of both beauty and learning.

Here's an example...

I haven't seen it yet, but the Discovery/History Channel stuff is my favorite.

For those of you with TIVO, it's replaying at midnight Central time. I've got it set to record.

Time Warp is easly one of my favourite shows. Last nights episode was no exception, although I wouldn't want to swing a axe that close to my feet. In a earlier episode they did a lot of stuff with chainsaws which was really cool. One thing that I think would be cool to shoot on the show would be a close up of a chainsaw chain cutting off little bits of wood. Or maybe a shoot of a chainsaw clutch engaging.
