Just got a FREE copy of 'PROFESSIONAL BUILDER' it's packed full of advert's for tools etc and it also has some very good articles..

i think it's about time we green industry workers got a free magazine ,lets face it there are enough of us Landscapers ,tree surgeons, gardeners ,lawn doctors ,and groundsman,. we tree surgeons could realy warrent a free magazine all to ourselves..what a fantastic medium a free magazine would be to help get our industry more professional ,ie we could have articles about topping ,insurance etc.

But no same old Britain charge charge charge, nothing for free over in this dump

hey ''Jim the tree mag man'' why not earn yourself a small fortune and start a magazine for the Brits ??...all your advertizers are only an e-mail away

jamie

Charge charge charge, and wotta load of old crap essential arb is too. I get TCI mag, brilliant articles for our industry, makes me feel like I'm part of a real proffesion reading it. FMJ's not bad though, more forestry baised

Free stuf

Free mags are "MMMMM" problem being they are free because the dealers pay top dollor for the ad's in them , The brit machinery and arb market seams not big enough to support that many advertisers with large ad budgets, that will only put up the price of the goods.!!!!!!.

FBT I''am sure would like to here from any body in the arb industry with good news and articals.

I'm happy to forward any good stuff you guys want to see in it or essential arb mag. :)

Next Thread. What we want to see in our Brit Trade mags.

I would'nt cross them without heavy artillery, I know that much.
I don't give a ???? about their work, its their thieving that gets me. But when you've worked in Liverpool, you see their not the worst, not by a long shot.

A new magazine is to be launched at the SALTEX show September 2005 at Windsor. This aimed at the Tree Care industry rather than the Tree Harvesting.
As its new readers will be able to guide its developement to deal with what they want rather than just having to put up with what they get, to make it work tree workers need to get involved!

Mags called TOTAL ARB by the way and it isn't free, costs £18.00 to subscibe at SALTEX and you get a free hand saw as well! I think the special lasts for a while then goes to £28 per year - half that of FBT.

I've got more detail so email if you want.
