what do you guys think of this bad larry? a busted up red oak in the back corner of the yard and zero access for any equipment.

i had to rig it off itself because of the garden and apple underneath it. i mean yah no big deal everyday work and all but working it off itself well above that break and rot was a bit hairy.

good fun though!

i need a video camera like the one ekka has. these are all cell phone pics.

dude in this pic had his work cut out for himself too.

he is waiting on some rigging to set up a zip line for the leader he is sitting in. it was up and over a nice shed and some of the neighbors yard.

Is that lead on the broken Oak leaning out as far as the picture makes it look? I'd a been very tender taking chunks off of that one!

anyone ever told you smoking is bad for you :biggrinbounce2:

good picks there remember to post so work pics
because here at A S we love pictures:hmm3grin2orange:

yes that lead on the broke oak was going off into the distance.

i kinda would have like to see what had broken out of it.

anyway ben did a F'n great job on the rope, she hardly moved on the stuff we rigged.

pb, we been off that job 2 days now. oldirty dont mess around when it comes to his work.

woooo

anyway you guys see something i am doing wrong feel free to let me know.

a more efficient footlock is my treegoal as we speak. any pointers?

Good pics, that's been rotting and busted a very long time. It was like dirt inside with another plant growing in it. I bet it was rough on the chain cutting that trunk log.

Good job, hairy one. So was there only you two guys on it for 2 days?

I notice in all pics ya smoke wasn't lit ... was it one of those plastic trying to give up ones? :D

i was in that red oak for like 2 hrs.

L was in his for not too much longer than that.

there was one tree guy and 2 warm bodies on the ground.

so 5 guys on the job and we had 1 load of "firewood" to grab the next morning. not a bad effort.

i felt awful bucking that big dog up for firewood man, what a nice log.
no access for equipment. i dont think your machine couldve gotten into the yard either, though it wouldve been nice to find out. lol

i sure do love my touchdowns, i mean takedowns.

anyway, if ekka is giving me some props then things are alright.
