No, it's in line with where it should be. With that bar and chain, he will probably get another $150 or so, but maybe not in this soft economy.

It looks brand new from the pictures. The bar is hardly scratched. Starting bid is $700.

It doesn't look like the 3120xp on the Husqvarna web site. Do they change the case designs from year to year? It also says it comes with a 3/8 inch chain but stock is .404. Don't you need to change the sprocket to change chain pitch?

Yep, the sprocket needs to change to accomodate the different pitch.

I ran 3/8 on mine. Yep, just change the sprocket, which is a PITA due to the outboard clutch. Inboards will spoil you.

your only going to know--within the last 10 seconds of the auction--you have to decide what youd pay for it--then bid at the last moment. been there more than once. have to know new cost, and if the guy is honest--why selling---lots of variables---

It appears to have the same air filter cover as any that I've with the exception of the extra holes in the back.

3120s are pricey when new, but don't seem to have the same resale value as some other saws.

You might want to ask for the serial number so as to know when it was made. Those made after 1999 or so have low rpm limited ignitions vs those made prior. The carbs are only fully adjustable on first year production 1989 or so. The H is controlled by changing a jet.

The 3120 is an awesome powerhead for an Alaskan mill, but a bit heavy for other cutting(23# powerhead is the same as an 066/660 with 25" full of fuel and oil). I use mine for really tough stuff that I don't want to subject my 066BB to.

That 42" would be perfect for full width cuts on a 36" mill. I've considered buying one but haven't pulled the trigger as of yet. I could have used it today.:dizzy:

If you read the Q&A section he says that he bought it new and that the only thing that it ever cut was ice. Its never even seen wood! :chainsaw:

It turns out that the saw is a 1990 model. I don't have the cash right now so I'm going to have to let it pass.

you sure??????????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is the non slowed down model--which might be harder to find--just go raid some of your slush fund--and think of things to tell her later----better to ask for forgiveness--than permission!!!!!!!!:):):)

Its a 1993 model by serial number, so has the higher rpm limit ignition(black). It sure is clean, and still only 1 bid.
