Ok, i've been watching ebay for a mid sized saw, as i have:210,024 Super,& 066(that will be dedicated to the Woodbug mill). Several months ago i got the mill & 066 on ebay and it came with an loose 24" bar/chain, it will go on the 034. Last month i missed a 038 mag/super that went for $138{argg}. So this "running" 034AV will get here for a little over $150 total. I read alot of the old posts, and it looks like a good one to tinker with and add more umph with the 036 cylinder/jug. I'll keep y'all posted on it's arrival condition. And, btw, thanks for turning me into a saw junkie.... :) :chainsaw: Y'all will let me know when to start the 12 step? Intervention? Already getting the high eyebrow from the wife........just have to stay away from the :jawdrop: !

Ah yes, the wife problem. I dodged (I hope) the problem last Sunday. She called needing a quick trip to the Emergency Room (wasn't serious) while I was out in the wood patch. Quick trip back to the house and had to stuff the saws in the shop under lock before leaving. So she sees me carry THREE saws in instead of the two she knew about. No comments yet but I bet it has been noted for resurrection in a moment of need

You don't have a buddy that can drop in for a cold beer and to "pick up his saw I've been woking on"??? Imagination, man!

Hey Bumper...nice J-10! Had one in the '80s and really miss that truck!

Why would you buy from eBay if you consider it to be Sleezbay? Did you get
bit by eBay the corporation or a Seller selling on eBay?

Personally selling/buying? No, but i have had my account hijacked by someone that tried to sell a no-existant suzuki haybusa, which caused quite a bit of trouble getting it straighted out. I also have a few friends that have been burned. It's a risk, and i do think that ebay is lacking in the anti fraud dept. That said i still do business there, i just wish they would spend more time/effort filtering out the fraud.

They won't devote any more time than what they have to. They're making money hand over fist and new people join every day. And they make money on the fraud auctions as well.
