good work saving out that butt log, hope you get bonus points for going to such efforts. I was laying a big forked red oak flat a little while back and it rolled whil falling and fell on the forks and did some butt log damage HATE THAT- your method ensure that BS won't happen, great job, and glad to see you're logging, especially with the yoader!!!!!

been so busy this summer
thanks, but have to give the credit to the cutter, still just climbing lift tree and hooking rigging,drop a lot of trees but no topping yet,(been in the woods for over 20 years no instrest in topping until now.learing a lot from the young cutters out there who combine the too together i hate to say,the mill moved us to a clearcut this summer so joe sat for 2 months this summer we just got back to him last week.
